Five new highways in Kampala and the surrounding areas are now under development thanks to the efforts of Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja. These are Kasanje—Buwaya, Entebbe—Nakiwogo road, Kisubi—Nakawuka—Nateete, Nakawuka—Kasanje—Mpigi, and Nakawuka—Mawagulu—Nanziga-Maya. When the 72.5 km of roads are finished, the districts of Kampala, Wakiso, and Mpigi will be better connected. At the groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday at the Nakawuka Trading Centre in Kajjansi Town Council, Nabbanja spoke on behalf of President Yoweri Museveni and stated that the government takes the National Resistance Movement’s (NRM) top priority—infrastructure development—very seriously.
