Delegates from the Energy Regulators Association of East Africa (ERAEA) paid a visit to Uganda’s Albertine Graben on Sunday to evaluate advances in the energy, oil, and gas sectors.

The ERAEA portfolio committee visit came ahead of the 26th Executive Committee meeting, which will be held in Entebbe, Wakiso region, on December 11th and 12th.

The visit of the Portfolio Committee is intended to assess some of Uganda’s energy projects.

Energy regulators from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi’s Ministry of Energy and Mines are represented in ERAEA.

The organization was founded to build economic, commercial, social, cultural, political, technical, and other linkages for rapid, balanced, and sustainable growth in East Africa.
