Ruth Nankabirwa, the minister of energy and mineral development, is attending the Africa Energy Forum in Barcelona, Spain.
It is a great honor to be present at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF), which is taking place at Barcelona, Spain’s Fira de Montjuic. On Thursday, June 27, 2024, Nankabirwa said on her X, formerly twitter, “A global investment meeting for Africa’s energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, the forum offers us an opportunity to yet again, position Uganda favorably as the investment destination of choice.”
The minister expressed her excitement about talking with industry executives on how to promote sustainable energy on the continent and how to increase the private sector’s involvement in Africa’s energy sector.
