The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has organized Safety Week activities for November 11–15, 2024, in collaboration with Entebbe International Airport partners.
The Authority has organized a number of activities, such as safety talks, presentations, themed messages, and safety drills, all of which are intended to foster a culture of safety, according to Mr. Fred K. Over the years, Entebbe International Airport has had a strong safety record, he said. That performance is supported by Uganda’s remarkable 72.2% score in the most recent International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) audit, which was carried out in September 2023. Uganda has never reported a significant safety concern (SSC) in the many international safety audits that have been carried out over the years.Over the years, Entebbe International Airport has had a strong safety record, he said.
