MTN Uganda announced the re-launch of MTN Webphone with Webex on Tuesday. This cutting-edge communication tool enables MTN customers living abroad to call their loved ones at low local rates. In collaboration with Cisco, a leader in video conferencing and messaging software, this solution is being re-released.
The Web phone with Webex is a comprehensive platform that enables users to enjoy a wide range of communication tools, including chatting, conference calling, and seamless file sharingfrom any location around the world, according to an MTN statement made during the launch at Fairway Hotel in Kampala.
Part of the statement states, “With this state-of-the-art solution, MTN customers can maintain the efficiency of their business operations, connect with friends and family in Uganda at affordable local rates, and collaborate easily with employees and business partners worldwide.”
MTN Uganda’s Chief Executive Officer, Sylvia Mulinge, expressed her excitement for the new service.
In our progress toward MTN’s Ambition 2025, MTN Webphone with Webex represents a crucial turning point. We think everyone should be able to enjoy the advantages of a contemporary connected life, and part of that is making connectivity accessible and affordable, she added.
Ms. Mulinge continued by saying that MTN’s collaboration with Cisco enables the teleco to offer its clients an unrivaled communication experience, enabling them to remain connected, productive, and adaptable in the current digital era.
She said, “We think this creative solution will revolutionize how people communicate globally.”
